🌆Facilities

Facilities structures that players will interact with to partake in different activities. Initially, players will only have access to three basic facilities: Training grounds, Breeding Houses, and Health Centers. In addition to basic buildings, there will be a marketplace, utility shops, renting stations and arenas. Additional buildings will be introduced gradually.

Every building in the game will be one of two categories: Public or Private. Players will have free access to public buildings if there are available vacancies in them. Public buildings however will ask for a service cost from players for each service provided. Players can build private facilities on their land lots where they can breed, train or heal their doges whenever they want, without any service fee. There will be property tax that will need to be paid in order to use a building. Private facility owners can charge other players for services provided.

Facility upgrades will eventually become available offering more advantages and better results.

  • Training grounds - the places where players can improve their doges' attributes, potentially improving the doges' chance of winning races.

  • Medical Centers - the places where doges can be healed if any trauma has been acquired.

  • Breeding House - the place where players take their doge to breed them.

  • Renting Office - the place where visitors (non-registered players) will be able to rent out player IDs and doges to test out our play-to-earn game. This is the third structure that will be accessible without a player ID.

  • Utility Shops - the places where players can buy consumables and stimulants. (Consumables can be used to increase the doges training success rate for a set period of time.)

Stimulants and consumables will be items used to boost doge performance during races or training. Using stimulants (stim) is considered an illegal action if caught.

An example of how the stimulants work is - if your doge has 20 agility and you want to boost it for an upcoming race, a stimulant would give your doge an extra boost in performance. A stim will increase your doge's agility by 5. However, this is not legal and there is a chance that you (the player) will be caught for an illegal action.

This will result in your doge being eliminated from the race and your ID receiving a REP penalty in addition to a fine, which one needs to pay in order to continue using their player ID. Consumables are legal and will be used to increase doges stamina and training efficiency. However, players must note that consumables will increase the doge’s weight.

  • Arenas - the places where tournaments take place. On special occasions, there will be an option for players to rent arenas, or if their REP is high enough the player will be able to buy and place their own arena and host tournaments in it.

  • Marketplace - the place where players come to buy land lots, facilities, doges and add breeding offers. The marketplace will charge a small tax on every transaction. It is one of the buildings that can be accessed without a player ID NFT.

  • Betting station - the place where people can place bets on races and tournaments. This will be one of the other buildings that can be accessed without a player ID NFT. This option is still being considered and might not be implemented straight away in the game.

There will be a fixed price for each service that will be provided in the metaverse, so their will not be issues with price fluctuation of Dorc tokens. For example, if one DORC token costs $1 (USD) and a training plan costs 50 cents one will pay 0.5 tokens for it. If a token price is $10 one will have to pay 0.05 tokens for it.
